  1. Sound Waves enter the ear canal traveling to the ear drum.
  2. Eardrum vibrates.
  3. Sets the middle ear bones into motion.
  4. Third bone, Stapes, rocks back and forth starting fluid movement in the inner ear.
  5. Inner ear's hair cells, (hundreds of thousands) are stimulated.
  6. Hair cells fire and send electrical impulse through the hearing nerve to the brain.
